Song Ji Hyo Surprises 'Running Man' Co-Stars About Her Parents' Business
"Running Man" released its 662nd episode on July 16, where the mainstays were dressed from different social classes of the Joseon Dynasty, where a social class system existed. After getting all prepared, the members began talking about each other's backgrounds in real life.

Yang Se Chan said in a loud voice that the members are from a rich family except him.
Song Ji Hyo butted in and immediately denied his statement, saying that her father is no more than an office worker.
Ji Seok Jin then blurted information about Song Ji Hyo's mother.
According to the mainstay, Song Ji Hyo's mom runs a big food and beverage business and is currently on a business trip in Busan.
Verifying the information, Yoo Jae Suk added that Song Ji Hyo's mom also owns a noodle soup place.
Song Ji Hyo who was laughing at what the members said also verified that what they shared was true.
After their discussion, "Running Man" members started asking the "Princess Hours" actress about her parents' business. The celebrity hesitated for a while, but soon had the courage to let them know about it.

Song Ji Hyo said:
"My parents actually have their own ferry business in Tongyoung."
Upon hearing this, the "Running Man" members were evidently surprised.
"For 13 years, this is my first time hearing this! I had no idea that they were owners of a ferry business."
It was only then that the mainstay just discovered that actress Song Ji Hyo has rich parents.
Song Ji Hyo Maintains Spot in 'Running Man'
Meanwhile, Song Ji Hyo made a buzz in June after Korean viewers demanded her to leave "Running Man" due to her "lack of interest" in the show.
Some were disappointed about her lackluster performance in the variety program, while others were understanding that she might be having a hard time due to her ongoing feud with her agency.
In May, Song Ji Hyo and some of the employees had not been paid in months by their agency. Hence, the host-actress is consistently sharing positive vibes with her "Running Man" co-stars to viewers, and maintains her spot in the show.
