Doh Kyungsoo’s ‘The Moon’ Sold to 155 Countries Ahead of Release
Ahead of its much-anticipated debut, Doh Kyungsoo, Sol Kyung Gyu, and Kim Hee Ae's "The Moon" was reportedly sold to more than 150 countries.

'The Moon' Confirmed to Release in 155 Countries Including US, Spain, Germany
Doh Kyungsoo, Sol Kyung Gyu, and Kim Hee Ae's first movie collaboration "The Moon" recorded successful pre-sales in 155 countries, including Australia, Spain, Germany, and North America.
In addition to the remarkable achievement of the movie, "The Moon" has confirmed its release in the Philippines and Singapore on August 9, a week after it premiered in Korea.
On August 10, the film will be available in Malaysia, on August 17 in New Zealand and Australia, on the 18th in the United States, Canada, and Taiwan, and in Thailand on the 26th.
Following this milestone, the overseas distribution manager for the upcoming movie expressed his thoughts about the international release of "The Moon."
"We are excited for the movie because it will showcase top-notch technical skills that will amaze the international viewers. We are thrilled to release it abroad at a similar time as its release in South Korea."
"The Moon" is scheduled to hit cinemas beginning August 2.
Doh Kyungsoo, Sol Kyung Gu, & Kim Hee Ae's Characters in 'The Moon'
The space-themed film "The Moon" narrates the struggle between an astronaut trapped on the moon after an accident and a former space center director who is desperately trying to rescue him.
EXO's Doh Kyungsoo transforms into an astronaut named Hwang Sun Woo. He is a molecular physics major, a previous Underwater Demolition Team soldier, and the youngest member to join Korea's first manned spacecraft.

As he and his team take their first step to the moon, an unexpected solar wind strikes that kills Sun Woo's companions. Due to this, he gets stranded in space.
Veteran actor Sol Kyung Gu is Jae Guk, a former space center director who will form a team to rescue Sun Woo from outer space.
"The World of the Married Couple" actress Kim Hee Ae takes the role of Moon Young, the smart chief director of the International Space Station.
The sci-fi movie is already receiving anticipation from global viewers as it will be Doh Kyungsoo's big screen comeback following "Swing Kids" in 2018. This is also his first time sharing the frame with the award-winning stars Sol Kyung Gu and Kim Hee Ae.
