Lee Se Young to Possibly Work With Sakaguchi Kentaro in New Novel-Based Drama
On July 25, Lee Se Young occupied the news headlines as she is reported to lead the new romance series "Things Come After Love," along with Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro.

After the news broke out, the actress' agency Prain TPC immediately responded and said that it is one of the projects that Lee Se Young has received an offer for, and nothing has been confirmed yet.
What We Know So Far About 'Things that Come After Love'
"Things that Come After Love" is based on the best-selling joint novel penned by Korean writer Gong Ji Young and Japanese writer Tsuji Hitonari published in 2005. It introduces the love story between a Korean woman and a Japanese man across the border.
Expectations are rising for the synergy that Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro will create once they accept their participation in the project.
Earlier in June, Kentaro Sakaguchi announced his first fan meeting in Korea this coming September. It will be his first visit again in the country after he promoted his previous films "Tonight, At Romance Theater" and "10 Years of Remaining Life." His upcoming event and potential drama signal a closer relationship with Korean entertainment.

In addition, "Things That Comes After Love" will be directed by Moon Hyung Sung, which is said to be his drama debut as a director. Silver Lining Studio is expected to produce the series and filming will take place between Korea and Japan in the first half of 2024.

On the other hand, following the success of her historical-romance drama "The Red Sleeve" and "The Law Cafe," Lee Se Young is preparing for her screen comeback.
In March, Lee Se Young confirmed that she will headline the upcoming time travel series "Park's Contract Marriage Story," alongside Bae In Hyuk. It is a webtoon-based of the same name that narrates the marriage contract between a bachelor and a fierce lady.
Lee Se Young takes the character of Park Yeon Woo, a lady living in the Joseon era who crosses 200 years and ends up in South Korea in 2023 after an unexpected incident happened.
