This 2023, Hallyu superstar Kim Tae Ri challenged herself with the occult genre and successfully won over the hearts of the viewers.

She led the 12-parter series "Revenant" where she played a woman who becomes a vessel of possession for hungry evil spirits.

Kim Tae Ri received favorable reviews for her performance and delicate immersion with her two-character role: her possessed side and her neutral behavior.

Many viewers praised the actress for perfectly portraying her "devil" counterpart, which immersed global fans from the beginning to end.

Kim Tae Ri Reveals Most Unforgettable 'Revenant' Scene

Since "Revenant" marks Kim Tae Ri's first ever horror drama, she let fans in on a secret and revealed the spookiest experience she had while filming.

In episode 4, Kim Tae Ri and Shim Dal Gi, who plays the strongest evil spirit, hold hands. However, an enigmatic shadow was seen not far from the two, which sent chills down her spine.

Since it was caught on camera, she took a photo of it and immediately sent it to the director, sharing her horror.

"I knew all the details in the script and despite knowing that I'm only acting, I still can't help but be spooked by random things," Kim Tae Ri said. "I will never forget it for a long time."

On the other hand, the actress revealed that she had prayed for the endless success of "Revenant."
