"Moving" star Lee Jung Ha gained overwhelming responses from viewers after portraying a lead character in the webtoon based K-drama.

Helmed by Park In Je of "Kingdom" season 2, along with Kang Full, who also wrote the original web series, the 20-part episode K-drama depicts the story of teenagers with superhuman talents.

Interestingly, they inherited these extraordinary powers from their parents, who possess the same abilities as them. However, as they try to blend with normal people, a group of dark forces is eliminating individuals with superhuman powers and seeing them as a threat to society.

As the webtoon based series aired its first 7 episodes, lead star Lee Jung Ha captivated the attention of viewers with his transformation.

Lee Jung Ha Unbothered by His Weight Gain for 'Moving' - Here's Why

During the press conference, ahead of "Moving's" official release date, the 25-year-old actor revealed that he purposely gained weight for the role of Kim Bong Seok.

Since the webtoon character has a distinct look, Lee Jung Ha had something to do with his appearance, hence the 30 kg or 66 lbs weight gain.

As mentioned by a news portal, gaining weight was not that bad, and he enjoyed the process of it.

"I was really happy to be able to eat," he said, adding, "As I gradually gained weight, I wanted to become Bong Seok as soon as possible, and the more I gained, the more I could see him."

In Moving," the character of Kim Bong Seok is depicted as someone who lived a sheltered life. Although they were not wealthy, his mother, Lee Mi Hyun, played by Han Hyo Joo, made sure that Bong Seok was living a normal life.

Moreover, she also shielded her from the judgment of others. This is also the reason why Kim Bong Seok grew up without a friend. Lee Mi Hyun is afraid that people will discover his secret. That is his ability to fly, which he got from his father, Kim Doo Shik, played by Jo In Sung.

On the other hand, another student who has superpowers is Lee Kang Hoon, played by Kim Do Hoon. Behind his smart and gentle persona lies a gifted boy with intense strength.
