Jung Il Woo Uncovers Truth About His Health Condition

Known for his amazing acting chops and charming aura, Jung Il Woo might be one of the K-actors who has been loved by many. 

However, despite the cheerful personality he has in front of the camera, the "Good Job" actor is suffering from a dangerous disease. 

In the new episode of MBN's television program "Captain Kim's Plane Took Off" aired on September 2, Jung Il Woo appeared and talked about more of his condition. The cast of the show went to New Zealand and spent quality time together. 

Before heading to their accommodation, the cast went grocery shopping first and soon drove home to prepare dinner. 

Along with lawyer Sug Dong Joo, Jung Il Woo prepared the dinner together, and while doing their tasks, the actor mentioned that he should not be flying anywhere. 

He continued by sharing, "I was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm at age 27. The doctor told me about it, and he warned me that I have something equivalent to holding a time bomb in my arms. And I may die anytime."

Jung Il Woo's Doctor Prohibits Him From Traveling 

Jung Il Woo also revealed that after knowing his condition, the doctor advised him not to fly, because it could be dangerous for him. 

The "Cinderella and the Four Knights" lead star expressed how shocked he was after he was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, to the point that he couldn't go out of home for months. However, despite the disease that he has, over time, Jung Il Woo slowly came to accept reality.

"Honestly, I couldn't accept it before. But what can I do right? It's my body, and it's what I have. I've been trying to accept it. I get a routine checkup every six months in order to track any progression."

'Good Job' Actor Don't Limit Himself From Doing What He Likes Despite His Condition 

Afterward, the "Bossam: Steal the Fate" actor explained why he still flies even though he is fully aware that it could be dangerous as to what his doctor said. 

Jung Il Woo expressed that after going through the challenges he has to deal with due to his condition, he realized how important it is to travel. 

"Every time I travel, I feel more complete. I know my doctor prohibited me from flying, but I didn't want to trap myself in the disease. I don't want to stop doing what I want just because of my health."
