'A Time Called You' Gives Ahn Hyo Seop Goosebumps
On September 18, Ahn Hyo Seop sat for an interview with a media outlet where he expressed himself and talked about his new drama "A Time Called You."
Ahn Hyo Seop played the role of Koo Yeon Jun and Nam Si Heon. Despite not knowing that it was a remake, the actor chose the drama as his next project as he was captivated by the story the first he read the script. He added that among the scripts he has read, "A Time Called You" gave him goosebumps.
After the release of the Korean remake, Ahn Hyo Seop immediately watched it as the director advised him not to watch it until its official debut. He was amazed at how pretty and fascinating the adaptation was and realized why there were many fans of the original work.
As the interview progressed, the lead actor also expressed his feelings about acting as a teenager while wearing a school uniform, which he considered one of the most difficult scenes to film in the series.

"The biggest challenge was acting as a teenager wearing a school uniform. It's been years already since I wore it and it was very awkward in the beginning, but I got used to it."

Since he had to show unique chemistry and exhibit innocence as a student, he had to do his best to immerse himself in his character.
Ahn Hyo Seop also showed off a bold topless scene in the drama. Regarding this, the actor confessed, "I exercised and prepared a lot on site. I always feel a burden when I have to take my clothes off. But for this series, I think the body is also a tool that can express age. I'm in my 30s and I thought the difference would be less noticeable if I was skinny, so I tried to bulk. So far, it came out well."
Ahn Hyo Seop Takes Break From Doing Exercise
The "Dr. Romantic" star explained that he usually exercises regularly but is currently on a break from it after concluding the drama's filming session.
"I adjusted my diet during that time. Since then, I have been taking a break from exercising. Everyone knows my body because I show it on screen in every project. So I want to exercise in a healthy and fun way. I felt reluctant to exercise as part of my job. But taking a break from exercise is important too."
