Oh Taek Lands Taxi Job
"A Bloody Lucky Day" takes viewers on a taxi ride to nowhere. Things become chilly when Geum Hyuk Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok) jokes about murder, raising tension in the atmosphere.
He shockingly cuts his palm with a knife, sending Oh Taek (Lee Sung Min), the taxi driver, to a spiral. His hope for a great work day turns grim due to his eerily frightening passenger.
Oh Taek had a great family life at first. Sadly, he became knee-deep in debt that sent him to jail. He even lost his marriage and child due to his addiction.
To get by, he works as a taxi driver. When he sees Geum Hyuk Soo, he doesn't hesitate to pick him up and drive him to his destination.
Geum Hyuk Soo's First Kill
Oh Taek learns that he has a deep sense of pain. What surprises him the most is Geum Hyuk Soo's ability to kill with no remorse.
At a rest stop, he kills a man who confronted Oh Taek due to a traffic incident, leaving an ominous feeling. Geum Hyuk Soo shares his romance with Yoon Se Na (Han Dong Hee), a woman he adores, who clearly doesn't like him back.
When she begins dating someone else, Geum Hyuk Soo confronts the new guy. However, he ends up getting beaten up and later gets involved in a bus accident.

To avenge himself, he lures Yoon Se Na's new boyfriend to the rooftop where he kills him off by stabbing him to death. Surprisingly, he isn't arrested despite the evidence.
Geum Hyuk Soo's Intrusive Thoughts
Geum Hyuk Soo continues to hallucinate that the dead guy is following him everywhere. This triggers his fascination in twisted things including blood and murder.
The total number of his victims remains unknown, and he plans to leave South Korea through a smuggled boat. Meanwhile, Oh Taek receives a phone call from his company.
He is warned that his passenger is dangerous but it's too late as Geum Hyuk Soo overhears the conversation.
Oh Taek Runs For His Life
After the call, Geum Hyuk Soo reveals the fingers of the man he killed in the rest stop, scaring Oh Taek into stopping the car with the emergency signal turned on.
Thankfully, a car notices them and follows them to a nearby rest stop. Oh Taek quickly runs away, leaving two dead bystanders killed by Geum Hyuk Soo.
