Han So Hee once again proved her influence after making a decade-old book a bestseller!
According to news, the 800-page "The Book of Disquiet" has become a fast-selling publication now. It was after Han So Hee recommended it in one of her interviews.
'The Book of Disquiet' Becomes Bestseller Thanks to Han So Hee
According to the report, the publishing industry cited that the said book, which is Fernando Pessoa's essay collection, has been showing huge demand, especially on platforms like Aladin and Yes24.
Due to this, some are offering pre-orders after there has been a shortage for "The Book of Disquiet." That was after Han So Hee revealed that she was into reading the book.
"I've been engrossed in reading 'The Book of Disquiet,' this substantial volume, for quite some time," she told a magazine publication in her interview.
Moreover, the actress also mentioned a part of the book that made a mark for her.
"There's a poignant quote in the book asserting that all emotions, except those experienced during a 24-hour sleep, are rooted in anxiety," she said, adding, "Anxiety is akin to a delicate sheet of paper, underscoring the importance of diligently addressing today's anxieties promptly and tomorrow's anxieties on the morrow, preventing their accumulation layer by layer."
As a result, Spring Day Books, which published the Korean-translated version, said that since the interview was released, there has been a massive demand for copies and even sold out hundreds in one day.

Written by Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, he talks about his philosophical beliefs and fantasies about life and death in "The Book of Disquiet," which featured the main protagonist, Bernardo Soares, who works as an assistant bookkeeper in a Lisbon fabric firm.
According to the media outlet, a Korean publisher introduced it as "The Book of Anxiety," which was translated by novelist Bae Sua.
This is not the first time that a recommendation from an actress has attracted a large number of fans.This is also the reason brands love the actress.
Han So Hee currently serves as a brand ambassador for various companies, including fashion, health, tech, and more.
Among her endorsements are Balenciaga and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, where she serves as the first Korean model for the British cosmetics brand.
Adding to the list are the Swiss luxury watch brands Omega SA, Fila, Charles & Keith, and more.
Han So Hee New Drama: Actress Returns With 'Gyeongseong Creature'
Other than her endorsement and fashion activities, both local and international, Han So Hee is making her K-drama comeback through the upcoming series "Gyeongseong Creature."
Joined by Park Seo Joon, the first action historical K-drama to be released is helmed by "It's Okay Not to Be Okay" director Jung Dong Yoon and slated to premiere on December 22.
