Kang Ki Young To Play Divorce Lawyer In New Drama
On December 7, JTBC's "Great Problem Solver" shared a sneak peek into Kang Ki Young's brand new acting role.
Following his success in the past year with "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and "The Uncanny Counter 2," many fans are looking forward to seeing him more on television.
Thankfully, the long wait is over as he takes on the new challenge of playing a divorce lawyer in the new series "Great Problem Solver" with Lee Ji Ah of "The Penthouse."
The series tells the story of South Korea's greatest divorce problem solvers as they bring justice to "bad spouses" with their solutions with no fear.
In the series, Kang Ki Young transforms into Dong Ki Joon, a highly rated lawyer who earned the nickname "Shepherd" due to his great sense of perseverance and intuition.
However, he possessed great pain after he stepped down from his position of being a prosecutor and decided to become a divorce lawyer instead, raising curiosity.

Kang Ki Young Shares Future Plans In Acting
Since he debuted, Kang Ki Young has appeared in countless works as a supporting role.
In 2022, he finally received his breakthrough role as a lawyer in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" opposite Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh.
He also took on his first-ever villainous role in the second season of "The Uncanny Counter" earlier this year, finally erasing his "goofy" image and reinventing himself as a "sexy star."
The actor received rave reviews from the public, and enjoyed his much-deserved success. In an interview, Kang Ki Young shared that he wanted to take on the romance genre.
Much to his delight, he was cast to star in the romance courtroom drama "Great Problem Solver" with Lee Ji Ah, ticking off the box for his acting goals.
On the other hand, Kang Ki Young also wishes to star in an action-packed drama. With this, fans expect to see more of him in the big year of 2024.
