Jo Ah Ram To Make K-drama Comeback With 'Thank You'

After her show-stopping performance as a surgeon in the mega hit show "Doctor Cha" in the past year, rookie actress Jo Ah Ram widens her K-drama resume with a brand new drama.

Previously known as a Gugudan member, Jo Ah Ram left an impactful impression on the viewers through her participation in her debut projects "The Killer's Shopping List" and "Doctor Cha."

Many viewers wished to see more of her on the television screen. Thankfully, the actress finally accepted the offer to join senior actors Shin Ha Kyun and Jin Goo in the new tvN show "Thank You."

It's a drama that depicts the struggles of survival of employees in a construction company which is run by corrupt leaders and politicians.

Jo Ah Ram joins as Yoon Seo Jin, a newbie in the construction company while Shin Ha Kyun plays Shin Cha Il, an audit team leader who lives by his life principles while Jin Goo plays Hwang Dae Woong, the corrupt vice president of JB Construction.

"Thank You" marks Jo Ah Ram's first-ever action drama, and her third work overall as an actress. As she joins veterans in her new series, focus is given to her improved acting.

Meanwhile, "Thank You" is currently underway, and it's expected to be released in July on tvN. Don't miss it.

Jo Ah Ram Bags Trophy At 2023 APAN Star Awards

Thanks to her dedicated acting and flawless synchronization with her work, Jo Ah Ram received a nod at the 2023 APAN Star Awards.

She received the Female Rookie Award on December 30, 2023 after her outstanding performance in "Doctor Cha."

Jo Ah Ram also received recognition for the Drama Special performance at the 2023 KBS Drama Awards, which was held the following day, making her a rising star.

Fans as well as fellow actors look forward to seeing Jo Ah Ram's development as an actress in the Hallyu scene as she takes on more challenges and works in the coming years.
