'Queen of Tears' Confirmed to Premiere This March on tvN

On January 12, a media outlet announced that the highly-anticipated K-drama "Queen of Tears" starring big stars Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Lee Joo Bin will have a March release.

Ahead of its premiere, the drama is already expected to be a hit and dominate the primetime. 

"Queen of Tears" revolves the story around Hong Hae In, the third generation of Queen's Group conglomerate and queen of department stores, and Baek Hyun Woo, the son of Yong Du Ri's head and supermarket prince, for three years.

It is a series that features a miraculous, enthralling, and humorous love story of a married couple who manage to survive chaos and stay together against all odds.

Kim Soo Hyun & Kim Ji Won to Debut as Married Couple in 'Queen of Tears'

Kim Soo Hyun is Baek Hyun Woo, the legal director of the conglomerate Queens Group, while Kim Ji Won takes the role of Hong Hae In, his wife and the chaebol heiress of Queen Group's department stores. 

Apart from the announcement, the production also dropped a photo teaser of the soon-to-debut screen couple. 

tvN Gives Glimpse of Kim Soo Hyun & Kim Ji Won's Romance

In the provided still, it captures the romantic atmosphere between Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In, who enjoy leisure time on a bench outside their house, far from the chaos of their work. 

Hong Hae In leans her back against Baek Hyun Woo, and the couple wears gentle smiles as they share a book together. Anticipation is high for the soon-to-unveil love story between the main protagonists, who are said to surprise the nation with their marriage announcement.

"Queen of Tears" is penned by "Crash Landing on You" and "My Love From the Star" writer Park Ji Eun.

The drama is expected to air on tvN. However, its day and time broadcast are yet to be confirmed.
