Dispatch Exposes Park Min Young's Lies About Her Controversial Ex-Partner
On January 15, K-media outlet Dispatch released a report stating that K-drama actress Park Min Young lied to her previous statement regarding her controversial ex-boyfriend Kang Jong Hyun.
In their exclusive report, the said media outlet noted how the actress initially stated she was unaware of Kang Jong Hyun's agendas while dating him, and broke up with him.
It has been said that at that time, Park Min Young also stated that she never received financial support from Kang Jong Hyun. She added that her sister even resigned from her position as a director for a company affiliated with Park Min Young's ex-boyfriend.

However, in the newly released report by Dispatch, it was revealed that Park Min Young received about 190,000 USD (250 million KRW) while dating Kang Jong Hyun.
In addition, the money was sent from Mr. Kang's company to Park Min Young's personal bank account through a three-step process: Money from Mr. Kang's affiliate company was taken and then disguised as a loan, then sent through the actress' account.
According to the source, the money was labeled as "living expenses."

To recall, in 2022 Kang Jong Hyun was accused of embezzling over 60.0 billion KRW (about 45.7 million USD) in funding from Bithumb and its affiliates.
Park Min Young's Agency Investigates Dispatch Released Report
It has been said that Dispatch reached out to the former couple Kang Jong Hyun and Park Min Young regarding the issue. Mr. Kang's side refused to answer. Park Min Young's agency received Dispatch's questions, but has not responded yet.
In addition, the "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?" star's agency Hook Entertainment told MBC they are already looking into Dispatch's released report.
On the other hand, Park Min Young just made her comeback with the romance-revenge drama "Marry My Husband" and is currently receiving positive feedback from the viewers.
