The JTBC series depicts the story of individuals who work at the National Weather Service, and get caught up in office romance.
Played the role of weather forecaster Jin Ha Kyung, she is an outsider by choice but falls in love with a younger man, Lee Shi Woo, played by Song Kang.
The 16-episode series is her K-drama comeback after 2 years since she headlined "When the Weather Is Fine" in 2020. Unfortunately, "Forecasting Love and Weather" failed to get double-digit ratings, while the finale episode only garnered 7.344 percent nationwide of viewership.
In the same year, Park Min Young starred in another rom-com series. The Hallyu star played Choi Sang Eun, a professional contract marriage master in "Love in Contract," alongside Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Jae Young.

Like "Forecasting Love and Weather," Park Min Young's drama didn't score a double-digit rating. The highest viewership for the entire season run in "Love in Contract" is 3.992 percent, which is the show's pilot episode.

On the other hand, others say that it might be due to her involvement with her ex-boyfriend's controversy.
