Son Seok Ko Launches His Own Agency After Leaving SBD Entertainment

After leaving his label, SBD Entertainment, in September 2023, the "My Liberation Notes" star started his own one-man agency.

In addition to this, Son Seok Koo also opened his own production company, which he named Stannum Co., Ltd.

According to a media outlet, the production company received the registration certificate on January 2.

Meanwhile, the company's CEO is the former financial director of Saetbyuldang Entertainment, which is the actor's former agency.

To recall, Son Seok Koo left SBD Entertainment after deciding not to renew his contract with them after it expired in August 2023.

At the time, there were rumors that he was setting up his own agency, but he did not release any confirmation regarding it.

In addition, the actor mentioned in his previous interview that he plans to take a break after leaving his talent label. This is to focus on his future path before he starts shooting his movie "Nine Puzzle" in December.

Son Seok Koo's Upcoming K-dramas, Movies This 2024

The actor made a remarkable comeback in 2022 after landing the lead role in "My Liberation Notes."

Since then, he has become active on-screen with back-to-back K-dramas and movies, not to mention some of which are blockbusters.

As for 2024, Son Seok Koo stars in the webtoon-based thriller mystery series.

‘A Killer Paradox’ Teaser Captures Choi Woo Shik & Son Seok Koo’s Deadly Chase

Helmed by Lee Chang Hee of "The Vanished" and "Strangers from Hell," "A Killer Paradox" stars Lee Tang, played by Choi Woo Shik, as a college student by day and a part-time worker at night.

On his shift at the convenience store, he falls into an argument with a customer and unexpectedly kills him.

Little did he know that the man was a serial killer. This is where it hit him that he can identify bad people from the good ones.

Unfortunately for him, he is being hunted by authorities led by Nan Gam, played by Son Seok Koo.

The upcoming K-drama will officially air on February 9 exclusively on Netflix.

After "A Killer Paradox," viewers get to see Son Seok Koo in another mystery drama.

"Nine Puzzle" focuses on Yoo Yi Na's journey after she was accused of murdering her beloved uncle.

Joining Son Seok Koo as lead stars are Kim Da Mi, with guest appearances from veteran actors Hwang Jung Min and Lee Sung Min 

As of this writing, drama officials are yet to confirm their target release date and broadcast network.

Meanwhile, just like his small-screen appearances, Son Seok Koo is booked and busy on the big screen, with two upcoming films coming his way 

In March, viewers will get to see the actor return with the new movie "Troll Factory" with Kim Sung Cheol.

On top of that, he will join as a supporting character in the rom-com series "Virus" and will be reunited with "Sense 8" co-star Bae Doona.
