On February 7, based on the news cited by a media outlet, Park Chanyeol of the K-pop group EXO is being courted to star in Netflix's original series "Into the Woods With No One" (working title).

If he accepts the offer, he will collaborate with brilliant stars Lee Jung Eun, Kim Yoon Seok, Yoon Kye Sang, and Go Min Si.

"In the Woods With No One" is a mystery-thriller about pension owners who live in different timelines.

Koo Sang Joon manages a motel in the past, while Jeon Young Ha runs a pension in the present. When similar incidents happen to them, they make completely different decisions.

What We Know So Far About 'In The Woods With No One'

It has been said that the series is expected to raise tension with each episode as the entangled stories of the characters collide. The drama production already started filming in 2023.

Director Mo Wan Il of the hit dramas "The World of the Married" and "Misty" will helm the project.

Drama fans are showing great interest in his upcoming work. He was greatly loved for his directing which showcases the subtle psychology of the characters and the tense atmosphere of the narrative in detail.

Even though Chanyeol is reported to appear in the series, his character has been kept under wraps and is known to play a major role in the story. Expectations for the idol-actor's scene-stealer performance are increasing.

To recall, EXO's Chanyeol has his acting hiatus due to military enlistment after his previous movie "The Box."

Park Chanyeol made his screen debut in the 2015 film "Salut D'Amour." He also made special participations in various screen works, such as "To The Beautiful You," "Missing Nine," and "Memories of the Alhambra."

In particular, given that it has been almost six years since he last acted in a drama, expectations are high for actor Chanyeol.

Meanwhile, "In the Woods With No One" will be co-produced by Studio Lululala and Studio Flow. It is also tentatively scheduled for release in the second half of 2024.
