Jang Ki Yong, Chun Woo Hee, More Present at 'I Am Not A Hero' Script Reading

JTBC's forthcoming series "I Am Not A Hero" shared a sneak peek of its star-studded cast, showcasing their charms and synergy.

On March 21 various media outlets dropped the behind-the-scenes photos of stars to appear in the series, namely Jang Ki Yong, Chun Woo Hee, Go Doo Shim, Su Hyeon, Oh Man Seok, and Park So I.

According to reports, "I Am Not A Hero" heralds the birth of a special family that will bring laughter and healing to viewers.

The fantasy-romance drama depicts the story of a man who has extraordinary abilities but loses his purpose due to an unexpected incident.

In particular, it will revolve around the story of a family who has superpowers but loses their abilities due to a chronic disease common to modern people and a woman who becomes intertwined with them.

At the table reading presided by Director Cho Hyun Tak and writer Joo Hwa Mi, the actors and actresses displayed their passionate performances as they brought their characters to life. They immediately exhibited a fun chemistry as a family.

What We Know So Far About Jang Ki Yong & Chun Woo Hee's Roles

Jang Ki Yong, who marks this drama as his comeback, takes the role of Bok Gwi Joo. His power is to travel back in time, but only to happy moments in his life. He can't change the past, so he can only dwell on those happy memories. Unfortunately, he experiences depression, which leads him to lose his supernatural power.

The actor flexibly depicts the life of a helpless character who has lost both happiness and the ability to change. Everything starts to change in his life when he meets a suspicious woman Do Da Hae.

Chun Woo Hee, on the other hand, will play the character of Do Da Hae. She is famous for her ability to do a lot of tasks as it is her way to support herself.

The actress easily proved her excellent characterization during the table reading. She also displayed a mysterious yet charming chemistry with her first-time on-screen partner Jang Ki Yong.

Other stars mentioned also captivated everyone in the room with their strong line delivery and on-point expressions.

Furthermore, "I Am Not A Hero" is scheduled to air sometime in 2024. Expectations are high for the cast members who will bring another entertaining performance on primetime.
