Earlier this year, the entertainment industry was rocked by the tragic death of actress Kim Sae Ron, who passed away on Feb. 16, 2025, at the young age of 24.

Best known for her starring role in The Man From Nowhere and the many awards she received both as a child and as an adult actress, Kim not only left behind praise-worthy work, but also a family of performers.

While Kim Sae Ron was the most famous of her siblings, she wasn't the only actress in the household.

Her other two younger sisters, Kim Ah Ron and Kim Ye Ron (professionally recognized as Go Seung Ah), both acted in her childhood and teens in the film industry, Korean drama, and musical areas.
Early Careers in Film and Theater
Kim Ah Ron, born Jan. 6, 2002, debuted in 2011. She appeared alongside her sister in the 2012 film Barbie and also acted in Perfect Number that same year.

The sisters promoted Barbie together and were often seen attending events and interviews as a duo.
Kim Ah Ron transitioned to musical theater in 2013, playing roles such as young Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz and Gretl von Trapp in The Sound of Music.

In 2018, she garnered attention online for her striking visuals, with several of her Instagram photos going viral.

Her Instagram account, previously public under the handle @aroeee_, is now set to private, and she has no known recent acting credits.
Kim Ye Ron, the youngest of the three sisters, was born June 30, 2004. She debuted in 2011 in the horror film The Cat, where she played a ghostly child opposite lead actress Park Min Young.

She, too, entered musical theater early, portraying young Turandot in Turandot, young Pocahontas in Pocahontas, and young Mulan in a 2013 production.
In 2019, she made her K-Drama debut in When You Love Yourself Season 2, taking on a supporting role.
Kim Ye Ron's last known public post was on Instagram in February 2023, where she celebrated her graduation. Her account, @y.ro__ni, has not been updated since.
Life After the Spotlight
As of 2025, neither sister has returned to acting or been involved in new entertainment projects. While both showed early promise and talent on screen and stage, their current pursuits remain private.
Kim Sae Ron's legacy continues to shine in South Korea and beyond, as fans remember her not only for her powerful performances but also for the artistic path she shared with her family.
