South Korean DJ and entertainer Koo Jun-yup has revealed that he secretly stored the personal belongings of his former wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, for more than 20 years — a poignant reminder of the enduring public fascination with their romantic story.

According to Taiwanese outlet ET Today, Koo recently shared that he had preserved a black hairbrush Hsu left behind during a visit to Korea many years ago, even after the two had broken up.

He finally returned the item to her when the couple reunited and married in 2022.

"I never threw it away," Koo said during a past appearance on SBS's Dolsing Fourmen in April 2023. "There's still a coat in my house that Hsu gave me 23 years ago—I couldn't throw it away. I also returned a mirror she left at my place two decades ago. When I gave it back, she didn't even remember it and asked where I got it."
