Actress Kim Tae Hee's agency issued an official statement after confirming several instances of impersonation fraud by culprits falsely claiming to be company managers.

Story J Company, which also manages actors Seo In Guk and Kim Sung Cheol, released a statement on Monday, June 24, urging the public to exercise caution amid a rise in scam reports.
"We have confirmed multiple reports of people impersonating our staff and engaging in fraudulent activities," the agency said.
"These individuals are falsely using our name and business cards to solicit purchases, money, or personal information."
The company emphasized that it does not solicit transactions, reservations, or personal details through unofficial channels.
"All such actions are illegal. If you receive suspicious contact, do not respond and report it to the police immediately," the statement continued.
"We take this matter very seriously and will pursue strong legal action to prevent further harm."
The warning comes as online scams involving impersonation of celebrities or entertainment personnel continue to rise across South Korea's entertainment industry.
One of South Korea's most beloved actresses, Kim Tae Hee, has recently shared her thoughts on aging and appearance, and many are in awe of her candid words.

Her agency's quick reaction to the scam occurrences has won support from fans, with many people online thanking the company for its prompt response.
