JTBC's historical romance "A Hundred Memories" is getting intense as the most recent teaser suggests that either Kim Da Mi or Shin Ye Eun's character might have to vanish, causing fans to wonder before the September 28 episode.

In the 1980s setting, the retro coming-of-age romance drama focuses on two young bus hostesses—Go Young Rye (Kim Da Mi) and Seo Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun)—and their common first love, Han Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun).

The audience previously saw Jong Hee get assaulted by her violent brother Jong Nam (Jung Jae Kwang), causing Jae Pil to come to her defense.

As Soompi is on record as stating, "Jae Pil rushed to intervene and wound up in a physical fight with Jong Nam, leading to all of them being taken to the police station."

With Jong Nam under arrest for fraud, the physical safety of Jong Hee was regained, but the trauma persisted.

As reported by MK (Maeil Business News Korea), "She was devastated by the humiliating experience of having Jae Pil see her being treated that way by her brother."

Even with her internal struggle, Jong Hee began to regain her footing thanks to the assistance of Young Rye and the constant care of Jae Pil.

But the episode left viewers stunned with a dramatic cliffhanger: as Jong Hee was thinking that Jae Pil was the one who made Young Rye's heart skip a beat before, Young Rye was apparently in an accident.

In just-released stills for the next episode, the tension mounts as Young Rye is shown frantically grabbing a stunned Jong Hee and ordering her to run.

The production team revealed, "An incident that no one expected occurs, and someone must face the fate of having to disappear."

Another photo sees Jae Pil frantic and kneeling next to Young Rye, who is collapsed in the snow.
