Which K-Drama Stars Have Birthdays In March?

There's plenty to celebrate in March. Spring arrives in the northern hemisphere and several k-drama stars will place another candle on their birthday cake.

March 2: Celebrating first is Namgoong Min. He plays the man Kim So Yeon thinks she wants in "I Need Romance 3." He played Hwang Jung Eum's stepbrother in "Can You Hear My Heart?" and won a popularity award for his appearance in the 2005 k-drama "My Rosy Heart." He will be 36 this year.

March 4: Park Min Young, the star of "City Hunter" and "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" turns 28 in March. The star won an exccellence award for her role in "Glory Jane." Her stylish good looks and fashion sense have resulted in her being called a a fashion icon.

March 7: Jang Dong Gun just became a dad for the second time this year so he has lots to celebrate. His last drama appearance was in "Gentleman's Dignity" and he can also be seen this year in "Crying Man." Jang Dong Gun is one of Korea's highest paid actors.

March 13: Kim Nam Gil's last drama role was playing the doomed, revenge-driven Han Yi Soo in the melodrama "Shark." This year he appears as a bandit in the film "Pirates" with his "Shark" co-star Son Ye Jin.

March 13: Kim Nam Gil shares his birthday with Infinite's L, also known as Kim Myung Soo. As well as touring with his band, L appeared last year as the young So Ji Sub in the horror romcom "The Master's Sun. This year he will play secretary Gil Yo Han in "Cunning Single Lady" with co-stars Lee Min Jung and Joo Sang Wook.

March 15: Lee Da Hee started her career as a model but last year demonstrated her acting skills in two dramas: "I Hear Your Voice" and "Secrets." This year she will play a chauffeur's daughter in the revenge drama "Big Man." She may have plenty of company in her on-set birthday celebrations as two of her co-stars, Kang Ji Hwan and Jung So Min both have birthdays in the same week.

March 16: Jung So Min, who turns 25 this month, may be best known for her pursuit of Kim Hyun Joong in "Playful Kiss." She starred across from Sung Joon in "Can We Get Married" and will play an heiress in "Big Man."

March 20: In "Lie To Me" Kang Ji Hwan played the hotel heir that pretended to be married to Yoon Eun Hye. In "Big Man," he will play a man who grew up poor only to discover that he is the illegitimate son of the owner of a huge conglomerate. He wants revenge.

March 29: Kim Tae Hee has been described as the most beautiful woman in Korea. She acted the title role in the drama "Jang Ok Jung." She won an excellence award for her appearance as a profiler in "Iris." She's also known as the girlfriend of singer and actor Bi Rain.
