Artist from C-JeS Entertainment use their talent to inspire and encourage students who were affected by the Typhoon Haiyan.
On April 1, the NGO World Vision shared that artists from entertainment company C-JeS Entertainment have participated in a donation project for the students who were affected by the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines last November 2013.
Choi Min Sik, Seol Gyung Gu, Lee Jung Jae, Park Sung Woong, Song Ji Hyo, Gummy, Kang Hye Jung, and Park Yoo Hwan hand-wrote personal messages of encouragement for the students, and these messages were printed at the back of 20,000 Dream Notebooks that are to be delivered to the Philippines.
Jeon Ji Hwan, head of the International Relief Team from World Vision, stated, "Most of the schools and classrooms were devastated after the storm, and currently, students are taking their classes in town halls or open spaces. World Vision and the Philippine Department of Education are working closely together for the sake of the children and their education."
"The notebooks donated by the artists from C-JeS Entertainment will go a long way, especially since educational supplies in the area are very lacking," he added.
