Actor Seung Gyu Dies From Motorcycle Accident
MBC drama 'God of War' actor Seung Gyu (32; born Lee Seung Gyu) passed away from a motorcycle accident that occurred early morning of the 11th.
The accident occurred on his way home after cheering for the country's London Olympic soccer game against Japan. Due to the severity of the accident, he died at the scene.
Seung Gyu played the character of Kim Hong Chi in 'God of War' and was preparing actively for upcoming roles in theater. PD Kim Jin Min and the staff were greatly shocked to hear the sudden death of the actor. The funeral will be held on August 13 in Seoul.
The actor debuted in 2007 with MBC drama 'Park Jung Geum, Heavenly Beauty' and his works include dramas 'Worlds Within', 'Glory of Youth', 'Yi San', and 'Hometown Legends'.
