Following the success of the cable hit “Misaeng,” more drama writers who worked for the major Korean channels MBC, KBS or SBS, are choosing to write dramas for the cable networks. And some talented actresses are choosing to star in them.
Several Korean media outlets recently commented on the lineup of handsome 30- and 40-something male actors in the upcoming fall and winter dramas. But the lineup also features several beautiful actresses with a fair share of drama experience.
Actress Choi Ji Woo is going to college. The actress will enroll in a new tvN drama called “Second 20s.” In that drama the 40-year-old actress will play a 36-year-old mom who goes back to college at the same time her son does.
The “Grandpas Over Flowers” stars Lee Soon Jae, Shin Goo, Park Geun Hyung and Baek Il Sub are off to explore a new country. Accompanied by Hallyu star Choi Ji Woo and their usual baggage carrier, actor Lee Seo Jin, the grandpas will travel to Greece via Dubai.
