Park Ji Hoo's "Hummingbird" Surpasses 20,000 Moviegoers

Comparing to other movies, such as "Yuyeol's Music Album", "Transformation", or "Exit" which accumulated more than 100,000 of moviegoers even for a few days after its release, this is such an unusual case for an independent film, so its a real box office film.

The teen actress, Park Ji Hoo, who is the main character for the movie "HummingBird", is already attracting attention not only to the netizens and viewers, but it also piques the critics' interest for her character.

Even before its release, it has been drawing attention to the crowd, gaining positive critics and reviews. The movie already awarded, 25 awards, may it be for Domestic Awards or International Awards, including the ceremonies such as the 69th Berlin International Film Festival, the 45th Seattle Film Festival, and the 18th Tribeca International Film Festival. 

Park Ji Hoo is also gaining a lot of praise for her portrayal for the role of Eun Hee, who is a 14-year-old experience during the collapse of Seongsu bridge on 1994.

Jeong Hee-jin, a female scholar who published "The Challenge of Feminism",  "The history of this film is about depicting the daily lives of pain and violence that penetrate Korean society around the family and school in 1994."

Furthermore, the director of the independent movie, Director Kim Bora revealed that the success of the movie will all depend on Park Ji Hoo's portrayal of the character. It was said that Eun Hee's role plays a huge part for the movie for she is the center, her gestures, words, and facial expression will be based on how Park Ji Hoo become immersed with the role. 

Though, it was evident that Park Ji Hoo success on doing that after all the awards and the popularity the movie has been getting. 

The rising teen actress has been recently seen on the Korean hit Drama "Beautiful Worlds". Though her scenes were few, her character played a powerful role in the drama. 

Furthermore, this outstanding portrayal of Park Ji Hoo for the film marks her own history by winning as the youngest actress at the 18th Tribeca Film Festival.

On the other hand, Park Ji Hoo after the success of "Hummingbird" is currently working on her next upcoming project. Fans were hoping that this will become the start of the transcend in the career of the actress.
