Jo Jung Suk's Touching Message For Gumm At The 2019 SBS Drama Awards
Jo Jung Suk gave a touching and heart-warming speech at the 2019 SBS Drama Awards! The actor expressed how much he loves his wife. On the last 31st of December, actor Jo Jung Suk took home the Top Excellence Award in the Mid-Length Drama category for his performance in "Nokdu Flower."
When he received the award, he thanked the viewers stating "Thank you so much to the viewers of Nokdu Flower." He then added that he thinks he was so lucky to have the opportunity and chance to be in the series "Nokdu Flower."
He continued that he could not be even happier that he received such a great award. He also said that the six long months from the end of February until July was such a precious time to him that he could not even express it in words.
"Nokdu Flower" is a drama from the actor's favorite time period. He has always been curious about Korea's history. He said that he felt like he got a chance to live in that time period, then he added that this is a very meaningful award for him personally and will treasure it.
He gave thanks to his parents having tearful eyes as he explained that every time he talks about his late father he gets a little bit of teary. Then he also thanked his brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, and their children.
Last but not least, Jo Jung Suk addressed his wife Gummy, referring to her by her real name Jiyeon. He said that he has a new family member now too, and that he doesn't usually say these kind of things at official events, but he said that his wife who is busy with her own job and work and while preparing for her yearend concert still gave the effort to take care of him. He said he was shy saying these things and said I LOVE you to Gummy!

On the 6th of January, a source from Gummy's agency C-JeS Entertainment has confirmed and said that "It's true that Gummy is pregnant."
They added explaining, that the couple Jo Jung Suk and Gummy are very happy about their first pregnancy. Gummy is currently seven weeks pregnant. Since she is still in the early stages of her pregnancy, she will be minimizing her activities and focusing on her pregnancy in the meantime. The couple are asking for your warm support and blessings.
After meeting through an acquaintance, the couple Jo Jung Suk and Gummy first started dating in 2013. Then they went public with their relationship last 2015. In October 2018, they tied the knot after five years of dating and are now expecting their first child together.
