The movie "The Man Standing Next" directed by Woo Min-ho released posters featuring the five main characters of the film. In their appearances, each one reflected their roles perfectly.

Showbox has unveiled the posters on January 14th. All the posters, in particular, gave off a retro look that looked like it was taken and printed in 1979.

Lee Byung-hun plays the role of Kim Gyu-Pyeong who is the head of the Central Intelligence Agency which reigned over the constitution. On the left side of the image, it shows Kwak Do-won who plays the role of Park Yong-gak who is taking an oath at the US House of Representatives hearing. On the right side, it features actor Lee Seong-min who plays the role of "President Park."

Lastly, Kim So-jin plays the role of the lobbyist Deborah Sim who first appeared through this poster. Deborah Sim in the poster is attending an American embassy party to show her relaxed attitude. Her character is the one who looks after Park Yong-gak while ruling the US Congress. She is a key figure in the changing relations of characters in "The Man Standing Next."

Lee Hee-jun plays the role of Kwak Sang-Cheon who is the presidential head of defense. The poster shows Kwak Sang-Cheon standing proudly. It is predicted that he will have a tight and fierce competition with Kim Gyu-pyeong.

"The Man Standing Nex" is based on the story of the 40 days before the assassination of the president of the Republic of Korea in 1979. It deals with the most dramatic moments of Korea's modern and contemporary history. It will be released on the 22nd and is gaining a lot of anticipation from the viewers.
