On Dec. 27, reports were released that Ravi and Taeyeon have been dating for a year now. The rumor began spreading when a news outlet released an exclusive coverage from a close source of both artists stating that Ravi and Taeyeon met each other a year ago through a mutual friend. The news outlet even shared exclusive photos of the stars leaving a place together and claimed that Taeyeon was at Ravi's house on Christmas day.
However, the respective agencies of both rumored celebrities stated that they would be checking with their artists regarding this speculation. Later on, SM entertainment, which is the agency of Girl's Generation Taeyeon released their side and denied the rumors that she is dating "2 Days and 1 Night" cast member Ravi.

The agency expressed that both stars are just colleagues and happen to meet up for work purposes. SM entertainment explained they met up because they are working on music together. The rumors about their romantic relationship aren't true according to the agency.

Following this, a news outlet immediately released a statement from an official source from GROOVL1N, which is Ravi's agency. Contrary to SM's statement, they confirmed that the two artists are indeed dating and asked fans to refrain from speculative rumors so the couple can continue to meet well.
But the fans were even more confused when GROOVL1N retracted their statement that the artists are confirmed to be dating! And instead, they explained that the two only share a close friendship because they worked on music together and it isn't involved in a romantic relationship.
Based on the newly released statement of GROOVL1N, Ravi and Taeyeon only have a close senior-junior friendship. The agency also asks other news outlets to please stop releasing speculative articles and look forward to Ravi's upcoming projects.

The cast members of the show take various trips throughout South Korea, including many offshore islands. While being on a trip, members are given tasks and missions at a certain mealtime or point of the day to earn rewards, and in doing so, they can avoid punishments.
