Gugudan’s Hana and ‘Sweet Home’ Actor Go Heon Han to Star in a New Web Drama ‘Save Me Condae’
A new beginning for Gugudan member Hana as she is ready to take the acting industry together with actor Go Heon Han.
In a previous report, SBS will be producing a web drama in the collaboration of Goyang Knowledge and Information Industry Promotion Agency. SBS signed an agreement with the mentioned promotion agency to bring out the winning masterpiece of the New Media Story Contest as a web drama.
The contest of New Media Story was co-hosted by SBS Cultural Foundation and Goyang Knowledge and Information Industry Promotion Agency. A mentoring program that is valid for three months was given to the selected story writers. The projects that will be selected in this contest will be given the chance to be produced as a drama through SBS Entertainment D Studio.
This kind of contest give a lot of opportunities to all aspiring writers, fresh ideas that is set to make a new difference in the hitsory of Korean entertainment. SBS has became one of the bridge in fulfilling the dreams of others, this projects is expected to gain and dicover new breed of writers.
And the first project to be released is "Save Me Condae", which is about a new employee who says all her worries to a manager. The story will revolve between an employee and a young boss.
Go Geon Han who starred in Netflix's original thrilling series "Sweet Home" will be playing the role of a young boss. While the character of Gugudan member Hana is yet to be announced.
Actor Go Geon Han made his acting debut in the movie "Shadow Island" in 2014 and he has been to different dramas already such as "Go Ho's Starry Night", "Fight For My Way", "I'm Not a Robot", "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter", and more. He always portrayed the supporting character in the dramas and now this will be an opportunity for him to play as the lead role in the new web drama "Save Me Condae."
Meanwhile, Hana will be making her first lead role in this forthcoming drama. She already had a special appearance in some of the Korean dramas such as in the tvN drama "High School King of Savvy" in 2014. She has also appeared in the music video of VIXX in "Eternity" and Seo In Guk's "Everlasting Love" music video. Hana was also in the drama "My Fuxxxxx Romance."
From being an idol to being an actress, Hana is making a huge progress in her career. After the disbandment of the popular K-Pop girl group Gugudan, members were already making their own career path and seeing them fulfilling their dreams were already enough to make their fans happy.
Meanwhile, her former co-member Kim Sejeong is also dominating the Korean dramaland with her record-breaking action series "The Uncanny Counter."
The upcoming drama is set to be released on the official YouTube account Yo Gud (Drama of Things) of the newly launched channel by SBS Entertainment D Studio on Jan 30.
