These are the Idols Who are now In Demand Actors in the Korean Entertainment Industry
Korean entertainment is indeed a small yet exciting industry. Many idols turned actors are already being recognized for their duality. After showcasing their talents on stage, they could catch the viewers' attention with their fantastic acting performances.
Now that both the K-Pop and K-Dramas industries dominate the world, here are some of the excellent idols that are currently in demand actors in today's generation.
They started as idols to their respective K-Pop groups. But by the time they entered the small screen to begin their acting journey, these four artists are now familiar in the audience's eyes as actors.
Im Siwan
Did you know that Im Siwan is a former member of the K-Pop boy group ZE:A? Yes, you read it right. Apart from having a good visual, he also has a beautiful voice, and he dances too! Due to unexpected events, the group disbanded and members parted ways and some of them are also in the same career paths, namely Park Hyung Sik, Kwanghee, and Kim Dong Jun.

He is currently captivating the hearts of the viewers for his innocent and romantic character as Ki Sun Kyeom in the drama "Run On". In addition, he just released an OST for his ongoing drama in which he exclusively composed the said song.
Due to his recent activities, Im Siwan is also in talks for new upcoming projects, proving that he is about to conquer the industry with his talent in singing and acting.
Cha Eun Woo
One of the most prominent actors in this generation is ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo. His overflowing visuals is inevitable plus his charming and friendly personality are some of the things that the fans love about him. Cha Eun Woo is having the best time of his career, he has been working non-stop over the past years. From performing on stage with his groupmates as one of ASTRO members, being a host in different variety shows, and having numerous acting projects, he is a hardworking person.

Also known as Lee Dong Min, the 23-year-old idol turned actor is currently dominating the K-drama world with his portrayal as Lee Su Ho in the ongoing tvN romantic drama "True Beauty". He was able to showcase his excellent acting performance again and never fails to attract the viewers with his presence on and off the camera.
People would love to see more of his projects in the near future, for he can be the next nation's leading man.
Kim Myung Soo
Former Infinite member Kim Myung Soo who is also known for his stage name as "L", already leaves an impressive impression in front of the audience. Aside for his angelic voice and perfect visuals, Kim Myung Soo has been portraying various roles that gave him the opportunity to showcase his unbelievable acting. From being a lawyer, student, or even a secret agent, he can confidently immersed himself in every character.

Rowoon
SF9 member Rowoon is also making huge progress in his career, not just for being an idol, but also for becoming one of the rising actors in the Korean entertainment industry. He started from small roles, and now, he is currently one of the best emerging leading men in K-dramaland.
His perfect figure is also an advantage for him to conquer the industry of fashion. His stylish and chic image is what attracts the fans the most. Rowoon is currently playing the role of a junior marketer Chae Hyun Seung in the romantic drama "She Would Never Know."
