The 2007 South Korean film "Epitaph" was helmed by directors, and brothers, Jung Sik and Jung Bum Shik. It is a horror-themed film set primarily in 1942 during the time that Korea was under the colonial rule of Japan.

The story centers on the character of Dr. Park Jung Nam (Jin Goo) who discovers a photo album that made him reminisce about his days as an intern at the Ansaeng Hospital. The album reminds him of his memories when he was in his twenties in the year 1942 when he was working as a medical intern. He was engaged to a woman whom he never met since it was an arranged marriage.

Sadly his engagement with this woman ended when his fiancée committed suicide.

Later on, Dr. Park Jung Nam (Jin Goo) was assigned to take the night shift monitoring the morgue. As he was doing his assigned task, he eventually fell in love with a beautiful corpse. As the story progresses he found out that the dead body he fell in love with was the body of his deceased fiancée.

Soon, other mysterious events take place in the hospital which involves a young girl haunted by ghosts and a serial killer targeting Japanese soldiers.

Kim Bo Kyung also starred in dramas namely "White Tower," "Kimcheed Radish Cubes," and her last project that aired in 2012, "It Was Love," where she starred alongside Ahn Jae Mo, Park Shi Eun, and Hwang Dong Joo
