YoonA participated at the "40th Golden Film Festival," held on March 11, and tookhome the popularity award for her film "Exit." The celebrity was spotted looking elegant, wearing her sleek black suit and ever-beautiful face.
YoonA was able to give her acceptance speech and shared that the award is more meaningful and pleasant to receive since it is given by the filming directors. She also promised to impress the directors and fans through her work.
The singer and actress expressed her gratitude to all the filming directors and the filming crew, including the production team of the film "Exit."
YoonA has constantly been participating in various movies, and she is consistently building her filmography. The K-pop idol starred in "Exit" and gained positive feedback for her charming portrayal of the female lead character.
"Exit" became a massive hit, recording 9.4 million viewers when it was released in theaters.
YoonA's Film "Exit"
The 2019 disaster-action-comedy film "Exit" stars talented actors Jo Jong Suk and Im YoonA. It follows the story of a man who attempts to reconnect with an old crush. However, a chain of events happened in which they ended up trying to escape from a mysterious white gas that threatens to drown whole city.
In the film, Jo Jong Suk stars as Lee Yong Nam, a jobless man who still lives with his parents. YoonA, on the other hand, portrays the character of Eui Joo Yong, Nam's fellow ex-rock climber and love interest from university, who now works at the Cloud Garden.
"Exit" premiered on July 31, 2019, and it instantly became a box office success earning over 69.5 million USD. It also became South Korea's third highest-grossing domestic film for 2019 and Korea's third most-watched domestic film, as it eventually sold more than 9.4 million admissions.
Additionally, "Exit" was only the second Korean film to maintain the No.1 spot at the box office for two successive days in 2019, The award-winning film "Parasite" was the first such film to do so. In total "Exit" grossed a worldwide total of US$69,501,772, of which US$67,380,750 was earned from South Korea alone

YoonA's Previous Works
