‘The Devil Judge’ Writer Shares GOT7's Jinyoung Casting Story
Dystopian legal drama "The Devil Judge," starring Ji Sung, GOT7's Jinyoung, Kim Min Jung, and Park Gyu Young has already made noise in the drama department for its unconventional and interesting plot since its release.
The tvN drama - written by Moon Yoo Seok, who is also the man behind the 2018 JTBC drama "Miss Hammurabi," and helmed by Director Choi Jeong Gyu - is produced by Studio Dragon. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10:10 p.m. KST.

In the newly-released commentary video, Moon Yoo Seok shares an interesting first meeting story of actors Ji Sung (who plays Kang Yo Han), Kim Min Jung (Jeong Seon Ah), GOT7's Jinyoung (Kim Ga On), and Park Gyu Young (Yoon Soo Hyun).
Writer Moon Yoo Seok mostly talked about a memorable moment he had with GOT7's Jinyoung.
The writer stated that Kim Ga On was a complex character and when he asked whether Jinyoung had read the script, the "When My Love Blooms" actor replied, "No, you wouldn't give me the role anyway."
The rebellious answer of Jinyoung did not discourage the writer, according to Moon Yoo Seok himself, even though the actor said that in front of other experienced producers.
He said, "It only seemed like he said that because he felt the role of Kim Ga On would be given to someone else more popular than him."
He shared, "Even if Kim Ga On is a difficult role to play, I fell in love with Jinyoung's attitude. Judging by the way Jinyoung acted, I knew he read the script probably more than a hundred times. He even knows some of the details that I don't know. He had his own interpretations and queries for the characters."
The writer said that the more he spoke with Jinyoung, the more he saw Kim Ga On in him, "Ah, Ga On is already here."
He added that Jinyoung is sincere and passionate about what he does, but he also has pride.
