‘The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim’ With Kim Sae Ron and Nam Da Reum Releases New Stills + Drama Highlights

Seasoned actors Yoon Seok Hwa, Bae Hae Seon, and rising star Kim Sae Ron play a role of the third-generation shaman family that is full of eerie and spine-chilling mystery.

'The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim' Releases New Stills

On July 19, Kakao TV released stills for the upcoming fantasy mystery romance drama series 'The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim.'

In the newly released stills, Ga Doo Shim (Kim Sae Ron), clad in her usual neat school uniform, sports an anxious look with her mother, Hyo Shim, played by Bae Hae Seon, at her back, with the same expression painted on her face. No one can possibly tell that she's a shaman just by looking at her appearance.

Opposite of her, Myo Shim played by Yoon Seok Hwa, who accepted their fate wears a Korean traditional hanbok, disclosing their identity as a shaman. Myo Shim exudes a powerful force that she is indeed a shaman, despite having no embellishments on her hanbok.

Myo Shim (Yoon Seok Hwa) is a third-generation shaman who uses her abilities and powers to help victims who suffered because of evil spirits. She possesses strong power but she also shows unconditional love for her granddaughter, Ga Doo Shim (Kim Sae Ron), and believes in her abilities and powers.

On the other hand, Hyo Shim (Bae Hae Seon), is clad in a decorated Korean traditional hanbok like a shaman's, and has a more friendly atmosphere compared to Myo Shim (Yoon Seok Hwa).

Hyo Shim (Bae Hae Seon) is the mother of Ga Doo Shim. The second-generation shaman with better sales skills than her ability as a shaman. She works as a fortune teller.

Ga Doo Shim (Kim Sae Ron), Myo Shim (Yoon Seok Hwa), and Hyo Shim (Bae Hae Seon) were born with the same fate of becoming a shaman. The three took the matter into their hands and dealt with their cursed fate.

'The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim' Releases Drama Highlights

The drama wowed the fans and left the viewers speechless after releasing the spine-chilling, heart-thumping drama highlights.

Ga Doo Shim is not your average teenage high school girl. Although she refuses to accept the truth, Ga Doo Shim is a shaman who has the ability to see the souls of the dead after being born into a family with the same fate. She has inherited the powers and skills of a shaman, as well as the responsibility that comes with it.

Na Woo Soo, played by actor Nam Da Reum, is a typical high school boy with outstanding grades and a comfortable lifestyle. After meeting Ga Doo Shim, his accustomed life gets shaky when he realizes he is now able to see the souls and evil spirits.

In the drama highlights, Ga Doo Shim (Kim Sae Ron) and Na Woo Soo (Nam Da Reum) work together to fight the dead and the unknown in order to restore peace and order in their haunted school.
