Song Kang Achieves New Milestone
In a news report from Newsis on September 16, Song Kang was recognized for his big contribution to the Korean wave since 2020. He received the Seoul Tourism Foundation CEO Award at the 2021 Newsis Hallyu Expo.
The Hallyu Culture Awards that the Kdrama Nevertheless actor obtained proves his influence as a monumental celebrity. During the awarding ceremony, Song Kang made a short message to thank the people who stayed with him throughout his journey.
The heartthrob said, "Thank you for giving me this wonderful award. Thank you for your love and support for 'Love Alarm,' 'Sweet Home,' 'Navillera,' and 'Nevertheless.' I am grateful to all the directors and staff, to my parents, and to the fans who are always there beside me. I will become more diligent actor in the future."

Song Kang Begins Filming New KDrama Office Romance Cruelty
Song Kang also confirmed he is currently filming the Kdrama Office Romance Cruelty where he will be sharing the frame with What's Wrong with Secretary Kim actress Park Min Young.
Song Kang debuted in 2017. Since then, he continued to appear in various dramas and variety shows.
He's established his name and soon became in demand in the Korean entertainment scene, especially when he starred in Netflix's original romance drama Love Alarm in 2019. This was the start of his beautiful career journey. From here, he gained massive popularity, not to mention that he rose to become the prince of Netflix.
Song Kang also inspired the viewers through his tvN series Navillera, where he worked with veteran actor Park In Hwan. Here, he played the role of a ballerina.
Song Kang's latest Kdrama Nevertheless, while it didn't garner high ratings due to its explicit scenes, was a hit among various Asian countries. It consistently dominated Twitter's trending list during its weekly broadcast.
Most of Song Kang's dramas are broadcast all over the world through Netflix; hence, he has been nicknamed "Netflix's son."
Due to this achievement, Song Kang was appointed as the new public relations ambassador by the Seoul Tourism Organization in August of 2021.
Song Kang is expected to attract more viewers with his upcoming romance Kdrama Office Romance Cruelty, scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2022.
