On its first screening day, "The Policeman's Lineage" garnered over 64,000 audiences, making it the current box office hit.

Interestingly, the South Korean movie ended the long reign of Tom Holland's "Spider-Man: No Way Home."

To recall, the "Spider-Man" sequel has accumulated a total of 6,251,416 since it debuted and took the top spot in the box office for three consecutive weeks.

However, the number of audiences slowed on the same day that Choi Woo Shik and Jo Jin Woong's film was released, garnering only 53,398 on January 5.
