The cast members, alongside directors and producers of the upcoming Apple TV+ series, graced the press conference to talk about the much-awaited release.

At the media gathering, Youn Yuh Jung gets honest and reveals her reaction upon being told that she had to audition for the role.

According to a Korean media outlet, the award-winning actress was baffled and could not understand why she was asked to audition despite acting for decades.

The veteran actress pointed out how American culture is used to this activity but mentioned that "it's not familiar with Koreans."

"If I audition and say 'I don't think I'm suitable for this role, our industry will claim that 'Youn Yuh Jung failed the audition,' she pointed out, adding that she couldn't lose her 50-year-acting career because of one role.

Because of this, You Yuh Jung revealed that she "threw out eight scripts in front of the entrance" and was eventually invited by the casting officials, asking her to be a part of the project.
