'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' To Get Webtoon Adaptation This 2022
The newest Netflix court drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" is getting a webtoon adaptation this year!

Starring Park Eun Bin as Woo Young Woo, the drama follows the story of a lawyer working at a large law firm blessed with a high IQ. What makes her extraordinary is that she sees the world in a creative light despite having autism.
Earlier in July, production company AStory announced that the on-going drama will be produced into a webtoon this year.

A representative from the company stated, "The production of a webtoon creates a meaningful cultural attempt to satisfy the fans who love to consume short narratives of the drama."
While many webtoons are being adapted into dramas like "A Business Proposal," "Our Beloved Summer" and more, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" will deliver an interesting take as one of the few dramas to be adapted into a webtoon.

Because of the love that the series currently receives, the production company will take on the same plot as the drama, and will release the webtoon in four languages including Korean, Japanese, Chinese and English.

The exact release date of the webtoon has not been announced publicly yet. However, AStory promised the fans that the webtoon would be enjoyed simultaneously with the series.

In particular, the latest episode of the drama, which aired on Wednesday, July 7, recorded its new personal best in terms of rating of 4%, a leap from the 0.9% nationwide rating that the drama received during its premiere.
On the other hand, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" airs every Wednesday and Thursday on Netflix and ENA Channel at 9:00 p.m. KST.
