Kim Min Jae's Idol Trainee Past Attracts Attention
Kim Min Jae stirs buzz in the online Hallyu world as his past gets revealed! The "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" actor used to train as an idol under CJ E&M before finally debuting as an actor.
For four years, he focused on his craft as he has been the leader of the group of trainees including actor Kim Min Seok, SF9 Young Bin, A.C.E members Jun and Dong Hoon and Dreamcatcher Su Ah.
He stood out among other trainees due to his melodic rapping style and low register. Kim Min Jae once appeared in "Show Me The Money 4" as a contestant with the stage name Real.be.
However, Kim Min Jae didn't end up in the group because he lacked rhythm as a dancer before. At the same time, he has found his new passion for acting that made him realize that he only wants to do music as a hobby.

Kim Min Jae To Make Small Screen Comeback This 2023
Earlier this year, Kim Min Jae paired up with Kim Hyang Gi and transformed into a genius doctor in "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist."
Because the drama received great response from the public, the medical romantic comedy series has been green-lit for a new season.

"Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2" will focus on the romantic pursuit of Kim Min Jae with co-star Kim Hyang Gi, which takes place after the former's heartfelt confession in Season 1.
Meanwhile, Kim Min Jae also reprises his role in the third installment of the medical series "Dr. Romantic" with Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop and Han Seok Gyu.
