Go Yoon Jung Dishes Feelings About 'Alchemy of Souls'

Go Yoon Jung left a great impression on the viewers through her recently concluded work "Alchemy of Souls"!

The actress extends her thanks to everyone who supported her as Naksu, a shadow assassin, in her best drama yet.

On January 11, days after the conclusion of "Alchemy of Souls," Go Yoon Jung talked about the series and shared a glimpse of her experiences during the production process of the drama.

"I am so honored to be a part of an amazing and well-written series, surrounded by great people whom I see as a family," Go Yoon Jung stated.

According to the actress, she fell in love with the work after reading the script for Part 1, which aired in summer of 2022. This raised discussions about Go Yoon Jung's casting. Fans speculated that the actress was originally cast as the female lead for Part 1.

"When I first read the script, I had vivid memories of Naksu flying over Daeho," the actress shared. "It's a regret that the work is now over."

However, the production unit of the series clarified that Go Yoon Jung was cast as Naksu prior to the premiere of Part 1, and Jung So Min was offered the role of Mu Deok. The latter signed the contract to appear in the first part of the series only.

On the other hand, "Alchemy of Souls" is an internationally acclaimed work that scored an average rating of 9.7%, topping the most streamed series among other weekend dramas.

Go Yoon Jung To Be The Next Big Thing In Hallyu Scene

With only a few works in her filmography and a little experience as an actress, Go Yoon Jung was able to capture the attention of the viewers with her acting prowess and unbeatable visuals.
