1. Jin Bu Yeon's Return
Though Go Yoon Jung captured the attention of the public with her brief appearance in Part 1, her stunning entrance in "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" took everyone's breath away.
She also showcased her naive personality and love for alcohol, making the viewers' hearts flutter.
And when she said that she's the most beautiful person in Daeho, there's nothing you can do but to concur as her beautiful smile lights up the atmosphere in an instant!
2. Jin Bu Yeon's Proposal To Jang Uk
In Part 1, she was nothing but a cold-blooded assassin who kills without remorse. However, in Part 2, Jin Bu Yeon sniped the viewers with her honesty and straightforwardness.

The first episode also includes the iconic moment where she asks Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook), the most powerful mage and her lover in the past, to marry her.

3. Jin Bu Yeon's Perseverance
Unlike before, Jin Bu Yeon doesn't possess divine powers that allow her to do anything she wants.
Despite that, she is still determined to do things on her own, showing signs of independence. In one of the episodes, she struggles to get out of the tub water, shocking an adorable Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun).
The scene was so hilarious to watch that unconsciously drowned viewers in Go Yoon Jung's charms.
4. Becoming Jang Uk's Anchor
Because she lost her memories from Part 1, Jin Bu Yeon acts upon her feelings without inhibitions.
In Part 2, Jin Bu Yeon shows her compassionate and empathetic heart to thaw Jang Uk's frozen heart; to which she succeeds at the end of the series.
Their adorable banters and sweet moments won over the public's favor. Go Yoon Jung and Lee Jae Wook's kiss is the sweetest icing on top of the most scrumptious cake!
5. Jin Bu Yeon and Crown Prince Go Won
Apart from Jang Uk and Seo Yul, Jin Bu Yeon, much like in Part 1, has a lot of interactions with Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seung Ho).
Their adorable exchange of jokes and bond over their pet turtle was one of the cutest things to watch in "Alchemy of Souls."
In particular, their unrequited romance that turned into a beautiful friendship is also a fan-favorite. Truly, avid alchemists need more scenes of Jin Bu Yeon, Go Won and their turtle!
