The actor, born in 1995, currently stars in the two-parter Netflix drama "The Glory" with Song Hye Kyo, Lim Ji Yeon and Jung Sung Il.

Lee Do Hyun To Enlist In Military This 2023

Fan-favorite actor Lee Do Hyun has finally announced his military service plans!

The actor, who dominates the Netflix charts with his performance in "The Glory," delivers a bittersweet surprise to fans and reveals his plans this 2023.

On February 3, it was reported that the actor is scheduled to enlist this year to fulfill his mandatory military service. His agency, Yuehua Entertainment, quickly denied the rumors.

However, the agency then released another statement, saying that the actor has planned to enter the military this 2023.

A representative from the entertainment said, "His enlistment date hasn't been confirmed yet but we will keep everyone posted with further updates."

Yuehua Entertainment also reassured fans that Lee Do Hyun will accomplish his filming for his upcoming projects first before enlisting, which will be completed no later than March.

Lee Do Hyun expressed his willingness to join the military and not delay it any longer, contrary to many celebrities in the entertainment industry.

At the moment, he's gearing up for his forthcoming works "The Glory Part 2" and "The Good Bad Mother"!

Lee Do Hyun's Upcoming Projects To Anticipate

From "Prison Playbook," "Youth of May" to his most recent work, "The Glory," Lee Do Hyun has shown various sides of himself, proving his versatility.

This 2023, he will make his return with the second part of Netflix's "The Glory," wherein he plays the role of a plastic surgeon who seeks vengeance from his father's murderer.

He is also Song Hye Kyo's main love interest and right hand man as she, like him, avenges herself from her perpetrators in the past.

"The Glory Part 2" airs on March 10 on Netflix. Meanwhile, the actor also couples up with Kim Go Eun in the film "Pamyo."

It tells the stories of a shaman, a feng shui master and a funeral director who relocate the tombs of deceased people for a living. 

Moreover, Lee Do Hyun also teams up with Ra Mi Ran in the new family drama "The Good Bad Mother." The actor will portray the role of a prosecutor in the series. Both works are slated to air in the second quarter of 2023 so don't miss it!
