Lee Seung Min Reveals ‘Not Reading’ the Script After Jin Yang Chul’s Death + Talks About Song Joong Ki’s Wedding
Lee Sung Min reveals surprising detail regarding his "Reborn Rich" character and briefly talks about Song Jong Ki's wedding.
The veteran actor appeared as a guest on KBS CoolFM's "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show" where he also spoke about his big screen comeback.
The award-winning star never fails to amaze viewers with outstanding portrayals of his characters, whether its the main lead, supporting cast, and even villain roles.
Just like in his recent K-drama "Reborn Rich" where Lee Sung Min owned the role of Chairman Jin Yang Chul.
During his guesting at "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show" the actor spoke about the issue regarding the "Reborn Rich" ending.
According to a media outlet, the veteran star revealed that he didn't know how the series will end because he didn't read the script.
"After my role died, I didn't read the script," he explained, adding that he is also started filming with his next project and "couldn't afford to look at the second half script."
Since he didn't get to finish the script, Lee Sung Gi revealed that he watched the show without knowing how the drama would end.
To recall, the "Reborn Rich" finale episode gained criticism after viewers were disappointed with how the ending went.
Moreover, viewers also mentioned how it differs from the original web novel.
Despite these, "Reborn Rich" finished strong with a nationwide average rating of 26.948 percent, the highest of the entire season run, and 30.101 percent in metropolitan areas.
On the other hand, Lee Sung Min also shared his thoughts regarding the drama's popularity.
He admitted that he didn't expect that "Reborn Rich" would be a huge hit not just in South Korea but also globally.
"Although the ratings were high, I didn't realize it, but I received a lot of phone calls and text messages," he said.

In the hit JTBC series, Lee Sung Min stars alongside fellow lead actor Song Joong Ki, who recently got married to his British wife Katy Louise Saunders.

Speaking about Song Joong Ki's wedding, the host went to ask the veteran star if he would attend the Hallyu star's upcoming ceremony.
He said that they got close because of "Reborn Rich" and as for being a guest at their wedding, he said, " If he invites me to his wedding, I would love to attend."
