Lee Min Ho Gets Involved in Money Controversy — Agency Releases Statement
Following Kim Tae Hee and Lee Byung Hun's involvement in tax evasion, Lee Min Ho made headlines as his name is also being dragged into controversy. His agency was quick to address the issue.

The entertainment industry is having a chaotic atmosphere due to allegations of tax evasion by top stars in South Korea. However, all the actors say that nothing illegal happened.
On the morning of March 2, a media outlet reported that Lee Min Ho conducted an irregular (special) tax investigation with MYM Entertainment, his agency, in September 2020 and imposed a fine.
MYM Entertainment Clears Money Controversy Involving Lee Min Ho
In response to the news, MYM Entertainment released a statement denying the issue. According to them, "MYM Entertainment and Lee Min Ho have been paying taxes faithfully, and there have never been any irregularities."
The company added that the current situation has occurred due to the difference in interpretation of whether the previous artist's compensation for the use of illegal portrait rights' is taxable.

The agency cleared that it was about additional taxes incurred due to correction decisions due to errors in accounting in the process of handling corporate expenses.
On the other hand, it was not just Lee Min Ho who was under suspicions of tax evasion but also Kim Tae Hee, Lee Byung Hun, and Kwon Sang Woo.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho is currently in Canada to film the second sequel of his drama "Pachinko." The actor left Korea last February 17 and is estimated to stay abroad for a month until the production is done.
He will reunite with award-winning actress Youn Yuh Jung and promising star Kim Min Ha.
Adding to Lee Min Ho's projects set to air this 2023 is the romantic-adventure series "When the Stars Gossip," also known as "Ask the Stars. The drama is set in a space station and on Earth.
The story will focus on the romance that takes place between Korean OB/GYN Gong Ryong and Korean-American Astronaut Eve Kim.
The heartthrob will work alongside A-list stars Gong Hyo Jin, Oh Jung Se, Kim Joo Hun, Lee El, and Han Ji Eun. It has been said that the production has already concluded and is already in post-production, waiting for the confirmation of the release date.
