Seol In Ah To Play Musical Goddess In 'Sparkling Watermelon'
Seol In Ah is starring in a new drama along with Choi Hyun Wook and Ryeoun!
On Wednesday, April 5, Seol In Ah's agency, Gold Medalist, confirmed that the actress will take on the female lead in the forthcoming drama "Sparkling Watermelon"!
A representative from the company stated that the actress had decided to accept the offer after a thorough review of the script and production ensemble.
"Sparkling Watermelon" follows the life of a coda (child of deaf adult) student who befriends his father's younger version after mysteriously transporting back in time through a musical instrument store.
Seol In Ah takes on the role of Se Gyeong, a Seowon Arts High School student who plays the cello in her music club. Besides her musical ability, she's also loved by her peers because of her innocent beauty and ethereal aura.
In the 2017 rom-com drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," the actress played the role of a cello goddess. With this, anticipation for her brand new work is doubled.
On the other hand, Ryeoun plays Eun Gyeol, a good son to his deaf parents. He's a model student who also has the talent in playing the guitar.
Choi Hyun Wook portrays the role of Lee Chan, a hot-tempered student who tries to win the heart of Seol In Ah while Shin Eun Soo transforms into an ice princess named Chung Ah who was born deaf.
The cast of rising actors guarantee to showcase their fresh watermelon-like synergy that will surely bring comfort, nostalgia and happiness to the viewers.
