‘Call It Love’ Episode 16: Lee Sung Kyung & Kim Young Kwang Share Euphoric Moment Together

After eight long weeks, Disney+ Korea's highly rated melodrama "Call It Love" starring Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Kwang finally released its last episode.

Han Dong Jin & Shim Woo Joo Part Ways

The final episode of "Call It Love" depicts the warmth that Han Dong Jin (Kim Young Kwang) feels after Shim Woo Joo's (Lee Sung Kyung) family welcomes him with no prejudice.

All their differences didn't hinder their kindness to one another. In addition to that, Han Dong Jin also gives his estranged mother a second chance to mend their relationship.

He also resigns from his work to take a break and focus on himself. Shim Woo Joo also asks for time, saying that she's not ready to take the next step and enter a relationship just yet.

Han Dong Jin tells Shim Woo Joo that their love is greater than all the pain that he felt, and that he's thankful for her for loving him. The two share a tight embrace before walking away from each other.

A Year of New Beginnings

A year later, things become more bearable for everyone. Shim Woo Joo's sister is finally getting married to her best friend.

At Best Fairs, Han Dong Jin's former colleagues set up his ex-girlfriend Kang Min Young (EXID Hani) as a friend. However, she refuses the offer as it seems like things are going well with Choi Sun Woo (Jeon Seok Ho).

Meanwhile, Shim Woo Joo enjoys her new job at a new company. She's still friends with her former colleagues at Best Fairs, and they catch up everyday over lunch.

Unfortunately, she hasn't heard from Han Dong Jin since they parted ways. Shim Woo Joo learns from their common friend that Han Dong Jin moved to their province to live a quiet life.

Han Dong Jin goes camping every week, enjoying his solitude. Kang Min Young calls him from time to time, urging him to talk to Shim Woo Joo.

Shim Woo Joo & Han Dong Jin Meet Again Through Fate

At the end of episode 16, Shim Woo Joo is told that her mother goes out to meet Han Dong Jin every other week, and even feeds him his cooking.

Her sister, like Kang Min Young, urges her to contact Han Dong Jin as nothing is stopping them from being together.

Unbeknownst to Shim Woo Joo, her siblings as well as her mother kept in touch all the while. Her brother set them up, asking both her and Han Dong Jin to come to the show where he plays his guitar; the one gifted by Han Dong Jin.

Han Dong Jin arrives with a bouquet of flowers in his hands, smiling at Shim Woo Joo as she spots her in the crowd. She then returns the smile while running towards him.

The two feel their hearts thumping like crazy. Han Dong Jin and Shim Woo Joo then share a warm embrace, professing their affection and yearning for one another.
