K-Show Producer Reminisces Memories With ASTRO’s Moonbin: ‘We should have taken picture together’
The Korean entertainment industry mourns the sudden passing of idol-actor Moonbin. Among the people he worked with, this K-show producer shared her memories with the late ASTRO member.
Kang Na Rae Cherishes Memories With Moonbin
Celebrities, colleagues, fans, and close friends of idol-actor Moonbin shared their heartfelt condolences after his sudden death on April 19.
One of the people he worked with, Kang Na Rae, who is a known producer, reminisced her memories with the ASTRO member.
On April 21, Kang PD uploaded several posts on her Instagram Story to honor Moonbin.
To recall, Kang PD and Moonbin collaborated on Coupang Play's "Saturday Night Live Korea 2" and XtvN's "The Ultimate Watchlist."
The producer said in her post, "My heart hurts so much. I want to go see you right away, but I am afraid to face you. I don't know how to compose myself. My head is full of you, even if I don't want to think about you for a moment, the idea itself is a sin and pain."

With a heavy heart and regrets from the past, Kang PD recalled the conversations and photos she had with Moonbin while filming.
Kang Na Rae Regrets Not Having Picture With ASTRO's Moonbin
According to her, she used to call the late idol a muse and always stood by his side. She also regretted not being able to take pictures with Moonbin.
"I moved aside for celebrities to take pictures together, but now it was too late, I realized, I should have taken a picture with you."
Kang PD generously revealed some behind-the-scenes photos of the "At Eighteen" star on the filming set of "The Ultimate Watchlist" and wrote a message, "I wanted to make Moonbin's name known somehow, and today I achieved it. I was happy to be able to give you good results."
According to a source, in August 2019, the late K-idol approached Kang PD on the day of "The Ultimate Watchlist" Season 2 press conference and expressed his gratitude.
Moonbin said to Kang Na Rae, "This program is the turning point of my life. I wanted to say thank you. You are my benefactor. I believe in you."
In her post, Kang Na Rae, on the other hand, apologized as those kind words from Moonbin lingered in her mind all day, "Looking back now, I am sorry that I only ordered you to do weird things."
She also blamed herself for not taking the chance to grab pictures with him before.
"I thought there will be another chance to take photos together in the future. I should have let you do something cool."
