Actor and GOT7 member Jinyoung is ready to fulfill his military service this May. His agency released more details regarding his upcoming enlistment.

BH Entertainment Confirms GOT7 Jinyoung Enlistment on May 8

On May 4, Park Jinyoung's agency BH Entertainment announced that "The Devil Judge" star will fulfill his military obligations on May 8.

The company added, "To minimize congestion at the army camp on the day of enlistment, Jinyoung will enter the military in private for safety reasons. We ask for your understanding."

BH Entertainment also explained that as the entrance ceremony for the new military education team is a private place with a large number of military soldiers and their families, they advised the public to please refrain from visiting the site.

To recall, earlier in April, the "He is Psychometric" actor announced his enlistment in a handwritten letter to fans. Knowing that his fans are worried about him, the idol-actor assured them he will take care of his health and return as a better person.

Park Jinyoung made his acting debut in 2012, then debuted as part of GOT7 in 2014. After the band finished their contract with JYP, Jinyoung has been focusing on his solo activities.

On April 28, Park Jinyoung won the Best New Actor Award and the Most Popular Award at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards for his movie "A Christmas Carol."

Jinyoung Projects After Enlisting?

Meanwhile, the actor has prepared a project for his fans to be released when Jinyoung has already begun his mandatory military service.

One of his confirmed works is the webtoon-based series "The Witch," which depicts the story of Lee Dong Jin, who loved a woman called "witch." It has been said that "Our Beloved Summer" star Noh Jung Ui will be his onscreen partner.

In addition, there's also a rumor claiming GOT7's Jinyoung has an upcoming film that was filmed abroad. However, this is just speculation, and his agency has not confirmed any information yet about the matter.
