'The Good Bad Mother' Episode 7: Jin Young Soon's Final Hope
"The Good Bad Mother" episode 7 begins with Jin Young Soon's (Ra Mi Ran) heartbreaking diagnosis.
After learning about her stomach cancer, she becomes more worried about Choi Kang Ho's (Lee Do Hyun) welfare.
She then creates a plan for her son to be able to live independently while she's still alive. Fortunately, this doesn't go unnoticed by Choi Kang Ho.

On the other hand, Lee Mi Joo (Ahn Eun Jin) is nothing but excited to open her new salon in their humble village.
The Pig Farm's Painful Demise
Jin Young Soon's health begins to deteriorate. Despite that, she doesn't let it stop her from caring for Choi Kang Ho and their pig farm.
Their fellow villagers don't help at all as she sees flyers and brochures outside their pig farm, asking it to be demolished.
After contemplating, Jin Young Soon storms into the villagers' headquarters to give everyone a piece of her mind.
She tells them that the farm is not going anywhere as her son and his future grandchildren will continue its legacy after she dies.
Unfortunately, civil servants begin to cull all the pigs in the village after a new law is passed. Choi Kang Ho desperately asks his mother to do something about their pigs at the farm.
The death of the pigs brings painful memories to Jin Young Soon whose entire life is connected to the pig farm. Because of this, she loses all her reasons to live.
Jin Young Soon and Choi Kang Ho cry their hearts out, creating an extremely emotional atmosphere.
Choi Kang Ho Saves Jin Young Soon
The following day, Jin Young Soon sends Choi Kang Ho along with Lee Mi Joo, Bang Sam Shik (Yoo In Soo) and the twin kids to the bathhouse to have fun.
At the public bathhouse, Oh Tae Soo's (Jung Woong In) speech on the television triggers a memory for Choi Kang Ho who had a similar conversation with the politician.
At the end of the episode, Choi Kang Ho is sent to a rehabilitation center which will take care of him once Jin Young Soon takes her own life.
Choi Kang Ho pleads with her to take him home, and that he will be a good son to him from then on. He also promises her that he will never ask for a dog anymore.
Despite herself, Jin Young Soon leaves her son in the center. When she gets home, she ends her suffering by hanging.
Thankfully, Choi Kang Ho, who ran away from the center, arrives and hugs Jin Young Soon. He successfully stands up on his own, saving his mother.
